Hi, welcome to our YouTube channel. On this channel, we'll take you through the project of converting our van into a campervan. This is our first time converting a van into a campervan. It's a really fun project where we're learning new things every day. We're certainly not professionals, but we do enjoy sharing our adventure with you. Who knows, we might be able to help you with your own conversion project. Now that our van is officially a campervan, it's time to move on to the final chores. This week, we focused on building the gas tank. A gas tank isn't required, but we like the idea that if the gas tank were to leak, the gas could escape. The gas tank will be placed under the stove. We chose this because we only need gas for the stovetop, and the connection is so close. We drilled a hole in the bottom so the gas can escape. We mounted a screen over this hole. We did this to prevent vermin from entering our camper through the bottom. The gas tank itself is completely airtight so no gas can escape through the seams. We also connected the gas tank to our stove. Because this is actually a gas burner for a house, we had to replace the nipples. These ensure a nice, even flame. After connecting the gas, it was time for testing. And yes, we have a fire and can now enjoy cooking in our camper. We are incredibly happy with the result.
