JEFF: A section of ODM leaders has renewed calls for the party to secure the deputy president position, endorsing Cooperatives Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya as President William Ruto's running mate in the 2027 General Election. OLIVE: The leaders say ODM's backing of President Ruto's re-election bid will depend on the party securing the deputy president slot in its negotiations with UDA.
