Duale defends remarks, demands Gachagua face NCIC too

JEFF: Now to a developing story. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale remains unapologetic over his controversial remarks targeting the Kikuyu community. Speaking in Garissa, Duale turned his criticism on the National Cohesion and Integration Commission, accusing it of applying double standards. OLIVE: The Health CS says he will only honour an NCIC summons if the commission also investigates Democracy for the Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua over alleged hate speech and divisive remarks. Meanwhile, People's Liberation Party leader Martha Karua has called on President William Ruto to sack Duale over his comments. Gatete Njoroge reports.
