Mãos levantadas, guerra vencida | Pr. Kaique Mota

The battle against Amalek reveals that some wars don't begin on the battlefield, but in the soul. The enemy didn't attack Israel during moments of celebration, but in the desert, amidst weariness, frustration, and exhaustion. Amalek always seeks to strike the weary, the wounded, and those left behind. While Joshua fought in the valley, Moses went up the mountain and kept his hands raised before God. This shows that not all battles are won by human strength; some are won through dependence on God, through prayer and worship. Moses' raised hands represented his complete trust in the Lord. As long as they remained raised, Israel prevailed. When weariness arrived, Aaron and Hur supported him, teaching that no one wins alone and that God uses people to strengthen us in moments of weakness. The victory didn't come from the superiority of the Israelite army, but because there was perseverance in the presence of God. The great lesson is that there are battles that demand more than human effort: they demand faith, surrender, and hands raised before the Lord. Those who remain dependent on God find the strength to win even the most difficult wars.
