ocean hunger reset (pearl clip)
the main idea with all of these hunger resets is to have your items go through the bottom block of the portal. this means that you don't need to block off your entire nether portal at the middle, and also the setup is pretty easily overlapped with the portal animation. to get your items to go through the bottom of the portal, you can either pearl up into it (might be unreliable) or crouch and pearl straight down, which would clip you through the floor if you did not die from the pearl. !!! YOU NEED ALL 4 BLOCKS AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE PORTAL IN THE NETHER. YOU ALSO NEED BLOCKS TO YOUR LEFT AND RIGHT WHERE YOU PEARL IN THE OVERWORLD. you can do the 3rd/4th method by @luvvlyjude for blinds with less than 5hp. edit: related useful strategy by loth, pairs well with this • Wormhole Hunger Reset Portal Skip (fixed v... edit 2: i don't think there is any way to make the 2nd example 100% consistent unless someone knows all the intricacies of pearl behavior and there's some cheap+fast way of getting the pearl to land at a consistent height. i suppose you can go for it if you feel it's necessary for pace but there's a chance it just insta kills your run to either spilling items (very bad) or scrambling your hotbar/inventory (bad but less so)
