PATCH POD: The Queer Art Of Patching (Episode 1) | Acoustic Instruments in ER-301 and Arbhar
Hello and welcome to another episode of PATCH POD’s new series: The Queer Art of Patching! I’m B. C. Slumber, and in this video, I’ll be preparing for my upcoming tour in Japan by recording and sampling a variety of instruments—acoustic, electronic, and even tape-saturated sounds—into my modular system. My goal? To capture these unique textures and melodic lines in the ER-301 sound computer, the Instruo Arbhar. I’ll show you how I record chords and harmony, percussive hits, and layered textures on guitar, bass, synths, tape, and more—then transform them in real-time with granular synthesis and Eurorack shenanigans. Thanks for joining me on this patching journey.
