Make 5 Minute Chocolate Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Machine with 4 Year Old Susie

Today 4 year old Susie is showing us how to make 5 minute ice cream without an ice cream machine. Making ice cream at home can seem like a daunting task, expecially if you are considering buying an expensive ice cream machine. If you're looking for a fun activity to do with kids, consider using one of two methods in this video. In the first method, Susie shows kids how to make ice cream with nothing more than two zip baggies, ice, and regular table salt. We used 4 cups of ice and half a cup of table salt in the larger bag, added the ice cream mixture to the smaller bag, tossed it around for 5 minutes and then let it sit in the freezer for a few more minutes.
