So this time, I decided to tackle something a little more challenging: a day trip to Mount Jonen. 11 hours of CT, 1,700m of elevation gain, and 12.5km sounds pretty tough...!? I remember the descent from Mae-Jonen being incredibly tough when I did the Mimata Circuit, so I'd been hesitant to try it... but I finally managed to tackle the day trip to Mount Jonen from Mimata.
