The FDNY Rescue Logistics 1 is a 2013 International 7400. Its staffed with 1 SOC Firefighter and responds out of Rescue Operations Quarters on Roosevelt Island. Its assigned on the Major Matrix Assignment which is a Major Emergency Response with potential for Multiple Casualties. Collapses, Explosions with Structural Damage, Subway Derailments, Airport Crashes, Any Technical Rescue defined as tunneling, trenching, shoring, cutting, complicated disentanglement / Extrications. 10-60 Response. The Rescue Logistics is a Support Unit for prolonged Rescue Incidents, It will work with Rescue, Squad and TSU Under direction of Rescue Battalion, Chief of Rescue Ops and Chief of SOC. The Rig has Nolan Rail Carts that are battery operated and manual operated which are used in subway incidents to move equipment. Tool Box assortment or hand tools, ratchet straps, ropes, extension cords, adaptors, junction boxes, Drills, Sawzalls, Extra Blades, Nail Guns, Hammer Drills, Grinders, Concrete Breaker, Socket Sets, Shovels, Drills, Robo Paks to power tools, Extra Ice water Suites, Dewatering Suites, EMS Equipment, Pelican Telescoping Lights, Tables, Extension Cords, Knee Pads, Ear Protection, Helmets, Buckets, Bolt Cutters, Tent, Zodaic Boat, Subway Emergency Escapes, Generators, Ropes, Halligans, Axes, Flashlights, Little Giant Ladder, Tables, ABC, Water Can, Oils for Saws, Rebar Cutters, Masks, and Safety Equipment. Rescue Logistics 2 is a similar truck but is kept empty and is used to transport equipment to Rescue & Squads Firehouses.
