Recipe: Oreo Pie Crust - Baking Basics
This is a staple and everyone who bakes should be able to do this. Oreo Pie Crust: 22 Oreo (or similar) cookies (250g) 1/3 cup (71g) melted butter Crush cookies any way you prefer to get them to fine crumbs. A food processor works well here, but you can also use a rolling pin on a plastic bag full of cookies, or a mortar and pestle if you prefer. But you should end up with about 2 good cups of fine Oreo crumbs. Stir in the melted butter. Mixture will be quite thick and wet. Press the cookie crumb mixture into your baking dish.
