We Came for a Vacation… But Found Something More

Could Panglao become our home? Today wasn’t about sightseeing or checking off another tourist attraction. Instead, we did something much more important—we tried living here. We rented a scooter, met wonderful local people, explored the island at our own pace, and started asking ourselves a question we never expected: What if this wasn’t just another destination… but the place where we build our future? No matter what happens between Ashot and me, we both want Eli to grow up with both of his parents in his life. For the first time, we can actually imagine a place where that’s possible. As the sun went down and we watched families, friends, and children enjoying an ordinary evening on the beach, something shifted inside me. Maybe happiness isn’t about constantly searching for the next adventure. Maybe it’s about finding a place that simply feels like home.
