For twenty years, I coached women, telling them that cardio was king. And I was wrong for the first ten years. What I should have focused on much earlier was strength training. Not for the figure: for the bones, the brain, the heart, and independence at 80. Strength training after 40 is probably the best health investment there is. And nobody tells us that. In this episode, I talk about what I believed, what made me change my mind, and what I wish someone had told me when I was 30.
