Free Style Paddle Brush Technique - Overlapping Strokes & Background Elements #fluidart

In this video I create an abstract painting using fluid acrylics and Liquitex Free-Style Paddle Brushes. I show how I make long, flowing strokes with multiple colors of paint in smooth swoops. This technique allows the colors to blend and overlap in beautiful ways while still keeping their character. Before starting the strokes, I first prepare the canvas with several round background elements made with interference paints. These subtle, shimmering layers add depth and interesting effects when the light hits them. I also spend some extra time showing how I load my paddle brush with paint, because I’ve received several requests about that process. The way the brush is loaded makes a big difference in how the strokes flow across the canvas. I’m still not entirely sure if the painting is truly finished yet. I may add something subtle later? And I’m also still deciding which orientation I prefer?
