Walking through Odo Lewu felt unreal I saw many abandoned houses, empty streets, peaceful roads, and nature slowly taking over buildings. Despite how quiet the town is, the locals I met were very welcoming and shared interesting stories about the history and traditions of the town. I also visited the town’s oldest water source and learned more about how people survive there. The town is known to be very peaceful and safe, and locals shared stories of how they dealt with kidnappers and thieves in the past.
