2 Days in Seville 🇪🇸 The ONLY Itinerary You'll Need for Andalusia's Capital

Two Days in Seville, the capital of Andalusia and once the richest port in Europe. From the largest Gothic cathedral in the world to the famous Real Alcázar, tapas bars, and the birthplace of flamenco, this is everything you need to see, eat, and do in Seville. 🇪🇸 Seville is the city that shaped so much of Spanish culture, from flamenco to tapas, and it might just be the best city break in Spain. We spent two days exploring Seville, Spain's fourth largest city and the gateway to Andalusia. We started inside Cathedral de Sevilla, home to Christopher Columbus' tomb and the largest altarpiece on the planet, made from gold brought back from the Americas. We climbed the Giralda Tower, wandered through Barrio de Santa Cruz (the old Jewish quarter), and crossed the river to Triana, the more local, ceramic-covered neighborhood where flamenco was born. We did tapas the way locals do them, small plates, lots of stops, at El Libero, Casa Vizcaino, and a traditional bodega, drinking Tinto de Verano (red wine with lemon soda, what locals actually drink, not sangria). On day two, we visited the Real Alcázar, Seville's stunning Moorish-Christian palace, a Game of Thrones filming location, and the most impressive building we've seen in Spain. We share exactly how to get tickets (and how we queued for over 3 hours to get them on the day). We also explored Plaza de España, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, watched flamenco buskers, and bought traditional cookies from nuns.
