Nintendo's Canon Event
Call it a Donkumentary. Today we revisit Donkey Kong's creation story. So much of Nintendo's modern identity is rooted in this particular project. I'll grab sources and post them somewhere in the near future, but obviously this video wouldn't be possible without discoveries, translations and general work done by people like Norman Caruso (The Gaming Historian), Critical Kate (Kate Willaert) and others forming websites like Schmuplations. If you want the full Donkey Kong story, you'll need to check out their articles and videos.
