New York street Food || Halal Cart style chicken over Rice at Home Recipe -RKC #ChickenOverRice #Halalguys #Newyork #chickenoverrice #tandooririce #onepotrice #EasyRecipe #chicken #rice #chickenandrice #chickenrice #mealprepideas #garlicsauce #dinnerideas #easydinner #easyrecipe #desifood #Halalguys Ingredients Chicken breast 1 lb 3 tbsp yogurt 3 tbsp oil (divided) 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp tandoori masala 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp lemon juice Salt to taste Marinate the chicken for 30-60 min in the refrigerator White Sauce: 1/2 cup Mayo 4 tbsp Yogurt 1 Garlic clove crushed 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1 tsp parsley chopped 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp black Pepper Salt to taste 2 tbsp water or adjust Hot sauce or sriracha Yellow Rice: 4 tbsp oil 2 tbsp butter 1 tsp garlic minced 2 cardamom 2 cinnamon sticks 1 chicken cube 1 tsp black pepper Salt to taste 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp heaped turmeric 2 cups Basmati rice (washed and soaked for 20 min) 4 cups hot water For Salad: Lettuce, onion, cucumber, chickpeas, tomatoes, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley Preparation : 1. Marinate the Chicken with the mentioned spices above and keep it in the refrigerator for 30-60 min. In a pan add oil, cook chicken on high flame for 7 mins, until you see a nice color, cover and cook for 10 more minutes at medium heat, set aside. 2. For Rice ,In a wok add oil, butter, garlic, cardamom, cinnamon, chicken cubes and spices, saute for 2-3 min, add soaked rice, water, cover and cook for 10mins, medium heat, until water dries up, then lower heat and cook. Fluff them up with a fork/ spatula.
