Smoke Texas BBQ offers a spacious and welcoming environment that feels perfect for hanging out with family and friends. The big-screen TVs throughout the restaurant make it easy to imagine this place packed during football season, playoff games, and major sporting events like the World Cup. One of the coolest touches was the menu displayed on butcher paper across the wall. It instantly gives off that authentic old-school Texas smokehouse vibe, making you feel like you’re about to experience something special. On top of that, the prices were reasonable, which is always appreciated. For my meal, I ordered the short rib—and that’s when Smoke really won me over. The meat was unbelievably tender, falling off the bone like butter. Every bite was packed with smoky flavor, and the seasoning was balanced perfectly. The spice rub gave the meat a bold taste without overpowering the natural barbecue flavor. Then came the BBQ sauce, which tied everything together beautifully. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and to top it all off, they surprised me with two complimentary oatmeal raisin cookies.
