The premiere event for the film "HiGH & LOW THE MOVIE" (directed by Shigeaki Kubo, opening July 16th), starring members of dance and vocal groups "EXILE," "Sandaime J Soul Brothers," and "Gekidan EXILE," was held in Tokyo on July 4th. "HiGH&LOW" is a project that combines drama, film, manga, live performances, and more. Set in the SWORD District, where five teams - Sannoh Rengokai, White Rascals, Oya High School, RUDE BOYS, and Daruma Ikka - are in fierce competition, the series depicts fierce battles for men's pride, as well as the friendships and bonds they form. The film marks the return of Team Mugen's leader, Kohaku (AKIRA), to the SWORD District. Cobra (Iwata) and Yamato (Suzuki Nobuyuki) of the Sannoh Rengokai rise up to oppose Kohaku, who has teamed up with Lee (BIGBANG's V.I.) to take control of the SWORD district. The other SWORD teams respond, and the Amamiya brothers, Masaki (TAKAHIRO) and Hiroto (Tosaka), who are considered as strong as Kohaku, join the fray, plunging the SWORD district into an unprecedented crisis...
