Journey To The End Of Philippines Longest Road (Santa Ana)

TODAY, WE REACH THE END OF THE ROAD. 652 kilometres from Luneta Park in Manila is Pozo Robo beach in Santa Ana, Cagayan. The northeastern tip of the big island of Luzon, it is maybe the Philippines longest road... It is a long way from anywhere - and we actually start further north, on Camiguin de Babuyanes island. It's a much calmer crossing back, and we arrive just after lunch. Then we take the road to Santa Ana, but bonamine means we need to rest for a night! The next day we try to get to Pananacpan, but there is a broken bridge and only a loose river crossing. It's difficult even for the locals - but I can get my V-Strom across! As we arrive and see its beauty, we're faced with an even larger problem - that rain is coming, which might leave us stranded there... So instead, we visit Palaui Island, the real end of the Sierra Madre, and the famous Cape Engano lighthouse, at the corner of the Pacific and the Babuyan Sea. Then we make it all the way to the real furthest point... ================ CONTACT ME!
