Haemanthus albiflos Origin: South Africa Flower: White in late fall to winter Description: An evergreen, bulbous plant that grows between 8 to 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The upper half of the bulb is exposed and is bright green. May produce leaves once a year. The leaves are up to 16 inches long, and is often covered by short, soft hairs. Very easy to grow, hardy outdoors in Southern California.
