Disaster Camping Trip- Storms, No Gas, and Dead Batteries

This trip did not go as planned.... We were supposed to spend a few relaxing days paddleboarding on a beautiful lake in Northern California... but instead, I ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere, camped through multiple summer storms, my van battery died, and I ended up stuck at an abandoned gas station that looked like something out of The Walking Dead. Oh, and my cat Apollo? He went paddleboarding for the very first time. 🐾🚣‍♀️ (He did better than I did, honestly.)
