Exploring Japanese Forest Trails on a KTM 250 EXC-F 【Inagami-Takakura Forest Road】 This forest road offers a 9.6km ride through Kanra Town, Gunma Prefecture. Being in Kanra Town, it's a neighbor of the Mikabo Super Forest Road. It's also a distance that shouldn't be overlooked by those heading to Futagoyama Forest Road or the Saku area. The Akihata-Nasu area is famous for its delicious soba noodles and has even been selected as one of "Japan's 100 Most Beautiful Villages." Resisting the urge to eat soba, I headed towards Inagamiyama and found myself immersed in nature on this forest road. While much of the road is paved, there are spectacular views of Mt. Asama and Mt. Arafune along the way. It's easy to reach National Route 254 once you reach the Takakura area. It's a perfect forest road for a stroll. However! There are just so many starting and ending point indicators, it's confusing trying to figure out which one to use as a reference. I really need to look into this someday.
