Three Waves. Three Surfers. One Survival Session.

The day before, nobody surfed. Puerto Escondido was too big, too dangerous, and too unpredictable. Some of the best big-wave surfers in the world watched from the beach and decided the risk was simply too high. But the next morning, three surfers paddled out. Tom Lowe, Logan Kamen, and local surfer Axel Medina entered the water at Playa Zicatela after one of the heaviest swells Puerto Escondido has seen in years. Each surfer caught one massive wave. Each one had to deal with fear, survival, and the raw power of the ocean. This is not just a surf session. This is the story of what happened the day after nobody surfed. Featuring: Tom Lowe Logan Kamen Axel Medina Plus bonus footage from the following day, when Puerto finally gave a few perfect barrels. Filmed and documented in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico.
