EarthRoamer adventures in Baja: Catavina to the Coast EP3

We are heading away from the coast now hoping the trail is going to be similar to the trail we took in from MX1 a couple days ago…no such luck! The trail was difficult to follow at times mostly because of the alternate roots vehicles would have to take to avoid seasonal washouts. We were told there were some torrential rains this year that did a lot of damage to dirt roads. This is why it is difficult to run a route in the desert and then recommend it to someone else when the conditions may be totally different. The endless secluded beaches are amazing along the Baja coast but the desert flora is less interesting until you work your way back inland.
