SAIL LIBRA : Offshore Passage from St Thomas to Aruba and back!
Enjoy the highlights video of our trip from St Thomas to Aruba and back (with two stops : St Croix and the Dominican Republic)! This was an Offshore and Cruising Training passage where the crew visited the hot spots and acquired experience in anchoring, mooring, weather tactics and Caribbean trade wind sailing. Libra's paint job is still intact and despite the rough conditions we had going from Aruba to the DR, we only broke a furling line on our jib. We have no words to describe the warm welcoming of Luis Miranda and his family in the Dominican Republic. Luis did two passages with Libra in 2019 and just took the next step and bought a sail boat. Welcome to the community, Luis, and thank you very much for everything you and your family did for the crew!⛵ We'd also like to thank Tadji Kretschmer for letting us use her beautiful clips of Libra leaving St Croix on this highlights video. 😍 Soundtrack Epidemic Sounds : Jack Elphick - Turning Tide
