A walk around St Eulalia Ibiza and staying at the NEW Riomar Hotel Ibiza 2021

I stop at Project Social Ibiza for breakfast to meet some friends, Hotel Riomar Ibiza is the first Tribute Portfolio hotel in Spain. Based on its location at the estuary of the Santa Eulalia Rio (river), which is the only river in the Balearics. Making it a unique natural point in the world. Half of the rooms overlook Santa Eulalia Bay and the Balearic and Mediterranean Seas beyond, with the other half taking in views of rural Ibiza and the historic Puig de Missa. The hotel was the third hotel built in Ibiza, first opening in 1968. The hotel includes Ocean brasserie and bar, serving food and drinks in the hotel lounge, sea view terrace, and Pool Deck. TRIBE the ‘secret’ garden will host live acoustic music events once the remaining COVID restrictions are lifted in 2022. Currently, TRIBE Is used as an outdoor lounge and wellness space with complimentary yoga, pilates, and fitness boot camp for guests to take part in. In 2022 the hotel will also include a destination restaurant, for breakfast service and evening fine dining, and a state-of-the-art fitness room. Hotel Riomar Ibiza forms part of the Santa Eulalia Bay regeneration area which also includes W Ibiza, with its beach club Chiringuito Blue, healthy food at Ve Café, and evening dining at La Llama. The area also includes Marsol Apartments which is home to Pecador by Michelin starred chef Nandu Jubany. Santa Eulalia Bay was created to modernise the river end of the promenade and bring more employment to the town, particularly for the younger generation of local residents.
