Improvisation Design of an LSA using SURFACES 2.8. The complete series shows how to design an aircraft in a relatively improvised fashion, using the right tool. In particular, Part 1 shows how to create a simple Vortex-Lattice model using the aircraft design software Surfaces Pro, version 2.8.62. This model will be investigated and reshaped as necessary, such it will meet some very fundamental capabilities. This includes meeting specific regulations per 14 CFR Part 1.1 and the approved ASTM F2245 standard.
