Back where it started… and everything clicked again. This video covers Thursday to Sunday training using the Norwegian Singles Approach, including a perfectly executed sub-threshold session, easy runs, pacing at parkrun, and a strong long run. Thursday was a 6 x 6 min sub-threshold session. After a difficult start to the week, everything felt back to normal with consistent pacing and controlled effort across all intervals. Friday was a 60-minute easy run where fitness clearly showed, covering over 11km at a low heart rate. Saturday was parkrun at Groe where I paced 20 minutes using the Coros pacer app, finishing in 19:57 and helping others break the 20-minute barrier. Massive run also from Shelley Childs with a time of 17:56 (he has a YouTube channel ‪@ShelleysCortina‬ where he is restoring a 1976 MK3 Cortina) and a brilliant PB from Mrs Ayup with 27:53. Sunday was a 90-minute easy run, reflecting on consistency, mindset, and why running is a privilege.
