50 kilometers in the mountains, enough to understand that trail running is more than just running, but also about managing, adapting, and mental endurance. The Foppolo Centenary Trail, with its nearly 3,000 meters of elevation gain, was much more than a simple off-season race on the technical trails of the Orobie Alps. Between endless climbs, ruthless descents, spectacular views, and a constant battle with muscle, it truly meant transforming from runner to trail runner, discovering the profound differences between two worlds that only seem similar.
