HI, THIS IS THE JUNE SEWSAMPLER BOX PROJECT: SUNSET WHALES WITH ELIZABETH HARTMAN FABRICS and the video showcases #sewsampler #fatquartershop #ELZIABETH HARTMAN This reminds me of the Disney Movie, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," that had the song "A Whale of a Tale " sung by Michael Douglas's dad, Kirk Douglas in 1954. My little girl, age 8, sang this song in her first vocal performance. Not exactly the song I think a little girl should sing, but Hey, I wasn't there to put in my 2bits. I like to share "how to's", finishes, WIPs, tutorials, sew-alongs, and box openings. I squeeze in my quilting between working part time, grandchildren when their schedule's permit, including being the "practice coach" for violin practices for a 5 yr old girl and a 7 year old boy. Boy, Did I do that for years with 4 string players ? I guess we did. Because, you know , it's pretty rare that a child will actually practice their stuff individually at that age. (at any age) We tied violin practice , minute for minute, to 4-wheeler riding. That worked for years. My new facebook address is "Dixie Quilters". Please go ahead and post your projects there.
