BEHOUD TEXELS SCHAAP Het waddeneiland Texel en het schaap zijn onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden. Er zijn bijna evenveel schapen als eilanders. Maar het aantal schapenhouders loopt terug. Om het schaap als toeristische trekpleister te behouden voor Texel willen de schapenhouders de marketing en communicatie rond het dier verder professionaliseren. Het Waddenfonds ondersteunt de schapenhouders hierbij.
