Pind Waddi Miani, dist. Hoshiarpur, Punjab

My recent trip to punjab. Waddi Miani is a village with a population of around 10000. All of the villagers are migrants from west Punjab from areas around gurjat, layllpur(faisalabad) and lahore. Clan of lubanas are in large numbers in this village and their proffesion is zameendaari, and a small number of the khatri clan is also inhabited which are running most of the shops in the village. In todays most of the families are doing really well. 2 of the every 5 of the family men has moved abroad, for better opportunities and has well established business and well to do jobs abroad...
