The drillers are onsite ready to drill and stabilize the mines. Before we release that video. Phil is talking about the mines onsite and the historic mining activates. These old coal mines had two mined coal seams the Arley Seam and the Dandy seam. These coal mines were owned by Cliviger Coal Company. In this video we look at the old mining maps around the building site area and show video footage of inside the mines. The adit ways were access tunnels underground to access the coal seams. In this coal mine they are stone built with an arched ceiling / roof.
