Sooner or later, the day will come when I have to give up riding my motorcycle. Lately, I've been thinking how nice it would be to have a companion that can expand my range of travel, even just a little. I believe that ease of use and lightness are paramount for such a companion. This video is a review of the ADO Air Carbon e-bike, but what I really wanted to convey wasn't just the bicycle's performance. Now that I'm 67, the reasons why I might not be able to travel have been gradually increasing. Weight, hills, headwinds, strain on my knees, anxiety about the return trip… This lightweight e-bike has reduced each of those reasons, making me think, "I want to travel again." It truly embodies the idea that lightness is justice. I hope this video will be of some help to those who feel the same way: "I can't ride like I used to," "But I still want to continue traveling." I'll continue my Cub journeys. But even when the day comes that I stop riding motorcycles, I want to remain a traveler. I had a vague feeling that the Honda Super Cub had some kind of mysterious charm. Until I got older, I only imagined it as a working bike used for mail and newspaper delivery, soba and ramen shops, or even police officers.
