BoJack Horseman - lofi/chill mix

WARNING: songs/samples contain strong language/themes & spoilers for Bojack. Horseman, obviously. Anyway, take that, all those random lofi videos with Bart Simpson in the thumbnail for no reason! Now here's a lofi video with Bojack Horseman in the thumbnail, with mixes that actually sample/remix stuff from Bojack Horseman! This is my favorite TV show. It's rare to come across stuff this funny, this interesting, and so profound, which can touch such diverse topics yet cover them all so introspectively. And as Mr. Peanutbutter would say, "I love lofi chill-hop beats to study/relax to!" An excellent combination if I do say so myself. This also marks a first in my lofi video history - the first mix not based on video game content! It's also a first since I sourced most of this from soundcloud instead of youtube. I'll be using soundcloud a lot more regularly to highlight music from this point on! Season one sure was weird. 3:27 - Bojack Horseman (MarcLouly) Ah... One of the songs that samples that episode. You know the one. It bites. 5:31 - It's You (sbeve) Honestly this scene felt really good to hear both in the show and in the lofi. 7:37 - Sarah Lynn Lofi (Kúzma) Poor Sarah Lynn, yknow? It's a shame how many people are probably suffering like her in the real world. Bojack does a great job showing how parents and parental figures have a huge impact on lifestyle. 11:38 - This is it (JG) Honestly, LFO is a really underrated episode. Deserves more love. So does the finale. 14:28 - Free Churro (Citrineflog) "My mother died and all I got was this free churro." I wish I had room to put that whole monologue here... 16:29 - Opening Theme (FlowersInTheRain) Love the sax part. Just gotta love it. 20:14 - Nobody Likes You (Eddie) This scene always hit hard. So seeing it portrayed so magnificently in lofi is perfect. 22:35 - Sad Lofi Beats (Rayhan Rizqul) Not a big fan of the "yeah" voice in the middle, but apart from that this is really nice so I had to throw it in. 25:00 - Sad Edit (simi's music) Free Churro is such a good episode. Love the lofi takes on it. 27:40 - Struggle (Young KC) I know I love talking about the music but this is an instance where it's so good you gotta listen yourself without my commentary. Just enjoy the beats. 31:19 - Doomed (AskAgain) I do love the ones which take quotes I didn't remember and utilizes them. This does that, plus later uses a memorable quote from a very hard-hitting episodes. So good! 34:58 - Opening Theme (Lofi.tv) I love that there's a couple lofis of the opening theme. It wouldn't be the same without em! 37:31 - It'll Be Alright (Charlee Nguyen) You have no idea how happy I am that a lofi samples Time's Arrow. 40:16 - Please Don't Go (ｂeｏｗｕl f) I can't believe I had no idea there was this much amazing Bojack lofi in the world. 42:17 - Nice While It Lasted (Dr.Pibb Inc) "I love Lofi Chill-Hop Beats to Study/Relax to! 46:50 - l o n e l y (n o r t h) I think it's quite clever how people can take the same quote and add so much different stuff to it. Isn't that cool? 49:24 - Happiness (Eddie) Speaking of that, this is also a fantastic beat. 51:45 - Late For Me (KUDO) This episode really showed me how Bojack was such a strong show after a kind of lame first season. So this is very nice. 54:47 - Other Side (AnDarktica) Ah, the View from Halfway Down... The strongest suicide prevention message I ever did see. 56:49 - ｍｒ ｂｌｕｅ (Dj Dipstick) Perfect. Just perfect.
