Sadr followers chanting for their cleric STORYLINE: Followers of the radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, who has waged an insurgency against the U.S.-led occupation in Iraq, appeared to be maintaining control of much of the city of Diwaniyah in southern Iraq on Wednesday. Carrying rifles and RPG's a militia was seen patrolling the streets of the city. Sayid Yahya, a spokesman for the local al-Sadr supporters, claimed they are ready to defeat any army who tries to enter the city.
