Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me comes from the album Caribou (1974) by Elton John. It's a great tune with lots of development throughout the track and has also been regarded as one of Elton John's most popular songs. The song reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a big hit in the mid-seventies. The song has also been recorded as a live version in 1986 on the album Live In Australia With The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (1987) and of course as a duet with George Michael in 1991. They first performed the song together during the Live Aid concert in 1985. The song is almost always to find in the live set either solo og along with the band. This version is inspired by solo versions from 1999/2000 as well as more recent solo versions.
