The State of ARPGs in 2025

Update: Titan Quest 2 has launched as Early Access for $29.99. The game only includes the first Act and players are reporting that the campaign currently only lasts 4-6 hours of natural flow gameplay. Players are feeling low and lost when it comes to modern ARPGs. Despite the overwhelming number of options, many of us keep crawling back to the classics like Diablo 2 and Path of Exile 1. And I know what you're thinking: "Wait… isn’t now the BEST time ever to be an ARPG fan?" We’ve got PoE2, Last Epoch, Diablo 4 Season 9, Grim Dawn expansions, and new games like No Rest for the Wicked and Titan Quest II on the horizon.
