I Finally Fixed One of My Biggest Design Mistakes - Devlog Week 7

This week I added data for a few items and my main hero, but the biggest improvement was a major refactor. Originally, each map had its own game scene setup, which quickly became repetitive and harder to maintain. I refactored the project to use a centralized Map Container system, allowing multiple maps to share the same game scene architecture. The result is a cleaner project structure that's easier to maintain, easier to extend, and much better suited for future development. The goal of this project remains the same: build a complete JRPG vertical slice and actually finish a game instead of endlessly restarting projects. This is part of my weekly Godot JRPG devlog series where I share my progress, mistakes, lessons learned, and the reality of building a game from scratch.
