Dejan Spasić from Topola is the owner of the “Spaleone” Epagneul Breton kennel and is unquestionably one of the most successful breeders and trainers of this breed, not only in Serbia but also beyond. His many years of experience, extensive knowledge in the field, and impressive results were reason enough for us to visit the “Spaleone” kennel in Topola, which since its founding has produced a large number of high-quality dogs that have achieved notable results at numerous shows and competitions, as well as in practical hunting of pheasant, hare, quail, partridge, rock partridge, and woodcock, not only in Serbia but also in many European countries. At the “Spaleone” kennel, the emphasis is on producing dogs with excellent conformation that possess a strong hunting instinct and are trained to be indispensable assistants to hunters. In other words, through selective breeding they strive to produce beautiful show-quality specimens with compact bodies, strong heads, and noble appearance, while also being exceptionally suitable for hunting, with a keen sense of smell, great drive, and endurance.
