Senator Andrea Chávez formalized her registration as a candidate for coordinator of the committees for the defense of transformation in Chihuahua, an internal Morena process that will determine who will lead the project for the 2027 gubernatorial election. During her registration at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, Chávez asserted that this step represents “the beginning of change” in Chihuahua and maintained that Morena is leading in the polls in the state. She also accused the state government of political interference and asked Governor Maru Campos to keep her hands out of the process.
