Catholic bishops warn against rising goon culture and political violence
The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops is warning against the rising goon culture and political violence in the country. KCCB Chairman Archbishop Maurice Muhatia is asking Kenyan youth to keep away from unscrupulous leaders who misuse them as goons, saying such leaders do not mean well for the youth or the country. KCCB says the latest developments pose a serious threat to peace and national stability. The bishops spoke during the installation of Bishop Simon Peter Kamomoe as the second Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wote in Makueni County.
