It’s funny how scraps that were about to be thrown away can come together and shine so beautifully in a journal. Because of that, I find myself looking twice before tossing anything out these days. I often flip through my own junk journals just to admire them and feel happy. Recently, I’ve even started thinking… when I have a child someday, I’d love to show them these journals. Imagine how special it would be for them to see the world through their mom’s eyes. While editing my past journal spreads, I noticed something—I really love stars. The shape, the way they shine, the meaning behind them… it all resonates with me. No wonder I have so many gold star stickers and little paper pieces scattered everywhere, haha. And today, I finally used some mini mirrors I had accidentally ordered wrong ages ago. They turned out to fit perfectly into today’s spread. Oh, and you know me—I can’t resist oranges in the middle of a cold winter, wrapped up in a blanket. I still have lots of orange wrappers saved up, so of course I used some again today. They blended so nicely with the warm colors of this spread. What about you? What shapes do you love, what colors make you happy, and what’s your favorite thing to eat on a chilly day? 버려질 뻔했던 자투리들이 다이어리 안에서 이렇게 아름답게 빛날 수 있다는 게 참 재미있어요. 그래서인지 요즘은 무언가를 버리기 전에 한 번 더 바라보게 되더라고요. 가끔은 제가 만든 정크저널을 다시 펼쳐보면서 그저 바라만 봐도 괜히 기분이 좋아져요. 최근에는 문득 이런 생각도 들었어요. 언젠가 아이가 생긴다면, 이 다이어리들을 꼭 보여주고 싶다는 생각이요. 엄마의 시선으로 담아낸 세상을 아이가 들여다보는 순간, 얼마나 특별할까요. 지난 다이어리 페이지들을 편집하다가 한 가지를 깨달았어요. 저는 별을 정말 좋아하나 봐요. 모양도, 반짝임도, 그 안에 담긴 의미까지… 모든 게 제 마음에 와닿더라고요. 그러고 보니 금색 별 스티커와 작은 종이 조각들이 여기저기 참 많기도 하죠, 하하. 그리고 오늘은 예전에 실수로 잘못 주문해두었던 미니 거울들을 드디어 사용했어요. 오래 묵혀둔 아이템이었는데, 오늘 페이지에 놀랄 만큼 잘 어울리더라고요. 아, 그리고 아시죠? 저는 추운 겨울날, 담요를 꼭 끌어안고 먹는 오렌지를 정말 좋아해요. 모아둔 오렌지 포장지가 아직도 많이 남아 있어서, 오늘도 또 사용해버렸답니다. 이번 스프레드의 따뜻한 색감과 너무나 잘 어울렸어요. 여러분은 어떤 모양을 좋아하시나요? 어떤 색이 여러분을 행복하게 하나요? 그리고 쌀쌀한 날에 가장 좋아하는 간식은 무엇인가요? 😊
