Matchless G12 CSR discussed and ridden up and back down Black Mountain to check all is well.

My first ride on any Matchless, apart from possibly a brief trundle up and down the lane on a G2 CSR, many years ago. This machine had been unused for some 12 years and needed some very minor recommissioning work done to put it back into good running order and check whether difficult hot starting had been eliminated. Here is a scenic test ride on it, where it ran very well, although a decent tyre on the rear would have probably boosted my confidence! All round, a great bike and more so than I was expecting.
