With every strong opening and grand finale in a story, there must always come the less exciting content that lies in between; the filler. When it comes to Ace Attorney, filler cases are interesting to look at because they mark the times when the developers are allowed to be as creative as possible, which ends up leading to varying degrees of success. Today, I wanted to take a look at Ace Attorney’s long history of filler cases in order to determine what makes an infamous case, what makes a fun case, and what makes a filler case worth standing side by side with some of the all-time greats.
