Forgot Everything at Weymouth Marina - Solo Boating Disaster

I took my boat to Weymouth Marina on my own… and somehow managed to forget almost everything I needed. This was meant to be a simple solo boating trip, but it quickly turned into one of those days where I realised how much planning matters when you’re out on the water by yourself. From the journey to Weymouth, to arriving at the marina, to dealing with the reality of what I had forgotten, this trip became a proper lesson in solo boating. At the time I was still using my Jeanneau Merry Fisher, before moving up to the Princess 42, and this was one of the trips that helped build my confidence for bigger boating adventures. In this video I share the full trip, the conditions, what went wrong, and what I learned from doing a longer coastal passage on my own.
