Attempting to Take a 42ft Yacht Out Solo... Here's What Happened

In this video, I attempt to take my 42ft Princess motor yacht out solo for the first time. This was one of those boating moments where everything feels a bit more serious. Taking a smaller boat out on your own is one thing, but handling a 42ft yacht single-handed, leaving the berth, getting out of the marina and bringing her back safely is a completely different challenge. The plan was simple: take the boat out, build my confidence, and see what it really feels like to handle a bigger motor yacht on my own. But as always with boating, there is a lot to think about — wind, tide, space in the marina, lines, fenders, controls, visibility and making sure I don’t rush anything.
