Railroad Crossing | Probandt St, San Antonio, TX

🗓 Date: 10/26/25 🛤 Line: UP Del Rio Subdivision ✭✭✭ After catching the northbound manifest heading up the Austin Subdivision, the dispatcher popped in a signal for a westbound at Tower 112. I came over to this crossing as it was one of the last I had yet to record in the area at the time. Fortunately, I made it with just a couple of minutes to spare. Here we see train IHOSA, daily intermodal loads from Settegast Yard in Houston to the San Antonio Intermodal Terminal. As of recently, this train has begun carrying manifest as well for interchange to Mexico. This crossing features a set of four Siemens gates installed around 2020. They replaced a pair of older gates dating back to the SP. This seemed to have been done as part of the larger re-signaling project that was performed in 2020 on this section of the Del Rio Sub. ✭✭✭ Timestamps: 0:00 - Signal activation 1:13 - Train 4:22 - Mid-DPU 7:06 - Signal deactivation ✭✭✭ Visit my other media platforms here! https://linktr.ee/The_Central_Texas_R...
