👣Walk with Me in Moelv in Norway | Town Center | 4K HDR | June 2024👣 "Moelv" is a town in "Ringsaker" Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The town is located where the river "Moelva" runs out in "Mjøsa" lake, about 30 kilometers south of "Lillehammer", and about the same distance northwest of "Hamar". The town is bordered by green, forested hills, and farmlands. "Moelv" was established as a village with mills and sawmills, and later became a station town when the railroad arrived in 1894. The first industry at Moelv was "Moelven Industrier"; one of Scandinavia's leading suppliers of building materials. The total population was about 4465 in 2021. In Moelv you'll also find Norway's oldest brewery "Strand Brænderi", founded in 1843. Seven burial ruins from the Iron Age and one of several cultural monuments in "Moelv", are located at the distillery's estate. There are few shopping centers, pubs, and restaurants in the town center. The European route E6 used to run through "Moelv", but in 1985, the Mjøsa Bridge opened for traffic and since then, the main highway has gone around the town rather than going through it.
